St Vitus Cathedral at the Prague Castle

This is the monument for St John  Mepomuk. He was thought to have brought the plague to Prague in the early 13th century. He was tortured to death and his body was thrown off the Charles Bridge. Eventually he became a martyr and patron saint.
All of his monument in the church is pure solid silver... there was a security guard watching :)
