Prague Blague... last day

The first day of bad weather for us. We had an amazing string of sunshine for 10 days but cloudy and chilly today... needed my sweatshirt and rain jacket too. Tomorrow is supposed to rain too but we're on a 5 hr train trip to Vienna so it won't worry us too much.

Today we visited the Prague Castle high upon a hill, and it is the largest medieval castle in the world. It was built in 870 AD and covers 7 hectares which include smaller palaces, churches, St George's Basilica, great halls, courtyards, a monestary and now also many cafes and galleries. All the Kings of Bohemia have resided there and today the President of the Czech Republic rules from there.

If you look closely at the figures on this entrance gate, it does not seem like a very welcoming place :(
