We took the train from Salzburg to Innsbruck and then through the Tirol Mountains ..part of the Alps..from Innsbruck to Venice. It was a long trip..8 hrs altogether but with the scenery and the comfort of the train it was really enjoyable. We had rain, dark clouds and even some sun. It was breathtaking with pastures, castles and towns way up on the hillsides.
