We decided to do a relaxing day... no sightseeing or tours or schedule.
We bought a ticket for the bus to Positano further south on the Amalfi Coast. There was a long line up but we got lucky as there was a couple who decided to give up. We bought their ticket and got their place in line :)
We boarded the first bus but discovered there was standing room only so we got off and waited another half hour ... Positano is apparently a popular destination :)
The ride was on the edge of a cliff ... one hour with only a 2' railing between you and the ocean. Oh and of course it 1000 feet up. Ron describes it as "a hairpin paved goat path on the side of a cliff" Ron took some good photos from the bus but needless to say I had my eyes closed.

This time we had a young hotshot driver. We were never more than a foot away from the edge of the cliff. A couple of times he had to slam on the brakes as we met another bus head on. One bus would back up so the other could barely pass. The mirror hit the cliff at one point.
We made it back safely. I was a bit rattled so we decided, no shower yet, to have a drink at the Foreigner's Club.. recommended by Rick Steves... lol
It was a fabulous place, inexpensive drinks with a great view.

Just what you needed. Sometimes you need to relax and go over what you all did see and did. We miss you guys but all is well here. Take care!
