We decided to stay in a place on the hill above Florence instead of the city....a hillside villa made into 15 units. We wanted to experience a small town Tuscany feel and we weren't disappointed. The village has a couple of restaurants and a few shops and an amazing view. And it 's only a 1.5 € ,15 minute bus ride into Florence.

Narrow streets
Last night we had the best meal we've had on the trip. Ron in heaven with his fresh tomato, olive, anchovie bruschetta for an appetizer.
The only downsides are this part of Italy has a lot of mosquitoes and the bed is firm.... very very very FIRM ..
Ouch ouch, I know what that is like! Oh well this too shall pass right?
